[Far Rider]

Morning all . . .



68° going back to the low to mid nineties pattern again.
This past Friday through Monday was cooler riding weather for the end of Sturgis. Saw some video of some CA riders whining about gas is far and few between here in remote Wyoming. I guess they never got up to the North of Nevada and rode along US 50, 95, and 93, that's where you fill up every 125 - 150 miles. Just coasted into Caliente from Tonopah via Rachel (Area 51) one time.

Morning. Currently 62, going for a high around 90. Shade day for this girl.

I went to Sturgis several times between the late 70s and around 2010. Atmosphere kinda went from biker to comic con, with all the bank executives and lawyers dressed in brand new Harley tee shirts and leathers that had never seen a bug splatter. Roy went with me on the last trip. We had fun, but decided if we had a week to ride, we didn't want to do it with 300,000 other people.

Sigh. I miss the bikes, but it was sure a good time while it lasted.
