Wednesday November 19

Post by Far Rider »

Morning all . . . :coffee:

34° and no predictions of rain are showing today. I don't think we had much w yesterday if any.

Still plugging away at sealing up the wall in in the basement bedroom closet, some years ago the main drain developed a crack in the main drain line, I wasn't here for the repair, and whoever cut the sheetrock was a bit brutal and they ended up tearing a bunch of it that didn't need to be removed. So I have painted up a 3/4 of a sheet of plywood to screw to the exposed studs and the remaining sheetrock on either side of the access hole. That way if any leaks develop in the future they won't have to rip up sheetrock.

Sounds like a good fix. Anything you have is going to eventually need cleaning or repairing. I am continuing to downsize my life.
It was getting to the point of who owned who.
Rain scheduled for the next couple of days although It can pour a mile away and we get nada.
58-65 today

Finally getting some rain in Texas, either later today or tomorrow. Can't complain about the 80 degree temps though.
Life is like riding a motorcycle. Balance is key, unless you’re at a stoplight and forget to put your feet down. Then, balance is just embarrassing.

Morning, gentlemen. 39 degrees and a fairly enthusiastic breeze this morning, though I'm not sure I'd call it wind quite yet. No rain. No snow. No nothing. On one hand, it's easy to get around. On the other, it is getting pretty late in the year without snow. It'll probably dump on us Wednesday next week when we want to go out to the ranch for Thanksgiving. Our son is working TDay- he likes those big overtime days at the fire station.
Mind the thorns.
