There were a couple of these houses in the part of town where we lived from 1981-1991. One has been torn down, but the other is still there, as far as I know.

I think there is one here in town a couple streets over from me.
When I was working at Gates Rubber in Denver, one of the guys on my shift had a basement home up in the mountains outside of town.
