Sunday March 1st

Post by Far Rider »

Morning everyone . . . :coffee:

30° and still air.

It was a joke about how difficult a job was, like trying to stuff a rattle snake into a live goat. I could imagine a speed goat or speed goats doing a stomp down on a rattle snake. Would probably look pretty funny to see that from a distance without knowing what they were doing. Kind of like seeing a person walking down the street swatting at a bee.

Thanks to the boss for setting this up, sure wish others from the ole gang would drop by occasionally to say howdy.

Computer problems yesterday. I bought a new router but my service provider [ Xfinity ] couldn't seem to change over from the one they were renting to me. Claimed my security camera system wouldn't allow it. Took most of the day to get it done. back on line now and looking forward to a 90+ sunny day. I once had a Pigmy African goat as a pet. Cute little fella but had a nasty habit of pissing on it's beard.

Morning, and a happy March to everyone. 54 degrees, air is moving gently, partly cloudy.

Mike, I am not even going to think about how your pygmy goat managed that particular feat.

I am, however, going to use the rattlesnake/goat analogy at some point. The antelope in question were two does. They took turns leaping with all four feet, landing on the snake, and immediately leaping back. Cut that poor snake to ribbons. Same area, we once saw a couple of antelope does chasing a coyote with murder on their minds. He took the threat seriously and was hauling ass out of there.

It would be nice to hear from some of the old forum folks, but I fear they've been swallowed by Facebook.
Mind the thorns.
