Morning everyone . . . :coffee:

60°, only made it to 96 yesterday but with some thin overcast it wasn't so blazing hot. Cody was only 85° when we passed through returning home from Billings.

I watch the Vultures circling around the Round Top from my front window every now and then. Then the turkeys have started showing up in more numbers, there is about three hens that have started walking around our neighborhood with ten to twelve young ones.

Leaving in 5 hours for a week in Roatan. Temps today are 82-114.

I know it's a murder of crows and a gaggle of geese, What is a group of turkey vultures called?

When the turkey vultures are riding the thermals in a free wheeling circle, they're referred to as a kettle. Those roosting together in trees are collectively called a guild. I don't know that the term is specific to turkey vultures, but a wake is the collective noun for vultures when they're dining together.

My personal collective noun for riders of a specific brand of bike: a cacophony of Harleys.

Cool today, cloudy, wind has come up. Ah, it is a relief to feel slightly chilly after days of feeling like someone was pressing a hot dense pillow over my whole body. Currently 75 with a low of 45 predicted for tonight.
