69° I think I can catch a slight whiff of grass fire smoke this morning, had some lightening off in the distance around 8 last night.

Morning. Days are noticeably shorter. 65 degrees with a high in the mid-90s predicted. Turkey vulture article complete. Book copy edits won't arrive until September 5 and have to be finished by the end of the day on September 8. Between now and then, I'm not going to work on anything more brain boggling than pulling weeds.
