Well the mouse was caught by the other cat that wasn't on mouse watch and brought up into the living room yesterday late morning, excitement ensued after she dropped it and it wasn't dead, moving things off the floor for better access to try and grab it with the grabber stick. At one point it went back behind the display cabinet, again but disappeared, a bit later I was checking in the cabinet and it had gotten into one end via a hole in the back. The other cat grabbed it and now we moved to the kitchen and under the table, where there was a stand off and I was finally able to grab it and escort it to the alley dumpster.

Silly, we use 45-70 here to hunt mice with . . .

Morning. 49 degrees and rainy. Over the last day, we've gotten almost an inch and a half of rain. Guess I should think about closing a few windows. When he stays with us, our grandson sleeps with the window open and the fan in it until we put up the storm windows.
