Yes the sun is harsh on plastic stuff, I've seen it warp plastic siding in some of the not Arizona desert heat areas I've lived, and then it can just crumble if touched.
My plastic trim shutters here are going that way, even tho they have been painted at some time in the past. But Ace doesn't seem to list them in their online catalog. So I would have to hope Lowes or Home Depot would have them in stock. Or just mail order them to here.

Sunny 60 on this pretty morning. Heading out to the ranch to check on critters while everyone else is elk hunting. Taking my compuer to work out where I don't have the distractions of home and internet. Sigh. Self-discipline on a pretty day is hard. Okay. It's hard on a dreary day, too.

Tom, my program in Thermop is going to be on October 2 instead of September 25. If you need something from The Big City, that will fit in my trunk or backseat, I can bring it to you.
