Morning everyone . . . :coffee:

49°

Alas my haircut appointment up in Worland is on October 2nd. I sure do miss the days before, the great two weeks to flatten the curve, when you could just show up at a barber shop and get your hair cut, but thank you for the offer. There was a great place in Gardnerville NV, it was in the same building as a fantastic Basque restaurant. Main street Barbers, a little two seat space with a huge elk mount on the wall and in the corner there was a ever changing collection of used firearms you could appreciate. One time he was selling a early Colt pocket pistol in .32 caliber.

Well, it's time for another "Get them in before your too old to do them trip". I leave in a couple of hours to catch a flight to Boston. Tomorrow starts a 10 day see New England guided tour with 24 strangers, soon to be new friends.
I leave 93 and sunny weather here.
A Colt 32 auto is a great collector item.

Morning. 55 degrees with the high in the mid-seventies.

Tsk, Tom, that sounds like the boy version of, "I can't: I have to wash my hair." ;)

October 2 is not particularly convenient, but stuff happens. I always call bookstores and libraries ahead of time to make sure things are still on schedule . The publicist makes the arrangements and I like a bit of personal contact before showing up. In Florida, I went online to find a bookstore's phone number and discovered the bookstore wasn't slated to open over for a month. Called my publicist who called the bookstore owner, who moaned about a family emergency preventing her from letting us know the event was cancelled. Why she scheduled an event six weeks before the store was supposed to open she did not explain. I'm glad I called. It was a four hour round trip to the non-existent bookstore.
