Morning all . . . :coffee:

50° this morning and back up to the eighty zone again today.

What is this roads / no roads thing I'm seeing about here in Wyoming? Is it something like corner crossing? Or do they want to close off access to public lands by closing access via old two track / forestry roads?
And then I hear they are passing some sort of excess vehicle noise ordnance down in Cheyenne, I'm thinking loud motorcycle exhaust? They did that in Denver and Vail years ago.

Morning. A sunny 64 degrees here in the middle of the state.

Some old roads have been closed to allow regeneration of damaged environments, protect water resources, and/or wildlife habitat. What the government wants to do right now is build more roads to give the timber and extractive industries access to the wilderness. Our idiot representatives in Congress babble about jobs for the state and easy access to fight wildland fire, but it's all about big business making money.

You probably don't want to get me started on this subject. I've been a scientist my whole life, by inclination and training, and some of the utter bullshit being spouted by people whose last science class was in junior high makes me want to spit.
