29° and supposed to be clear today.
Sounds like a good 500 +/- mile day.

Morning. Currently 37 degrees in Ogallala. Today's drive is just under 300 miles and five hours. I'm angling up through Scottsbluff and Torrington and avoiding as much as possible the roads that start with I. This is the first time I haven't driven back in a couple of days. Once when I was transporting my older dog and a new puppy for my son, I drove 19 hours to my daughter's house in Fort Collins to avoid finding a hotel that would allow the three of us. I could still do eleven hour days if I needed to, but if I don't have to, I'm not gonna.
