50° according to NOAA and the yard thermometer says 45°

Taking a drive up to Billings today, sure hope to return before it gets too dusky, because it's rutting season and the big critters are moving about.

Boy do we get the mud here when it rains, sometimes worry the house is going to slide off the hill or sink.

Could happen-hope it doesn't.

Sunny, windy, and 65 degrees in central Wyoming. On the 4th day of the write 50,000 words in a month, I'm a fifth of the way to goal. Suspect there is a wall looming in my literary future, but I'm enjoying the momentum while it lasts.
