My dental cleaning could involve the sonic thing or not, but for polishing it involves a baking soda sand blaster thing, almost can't brush afterwards.

Morning. 50 degrees, overcast, showers possible, breezy. It's beginning to look a lot like November, except for the trees that are still clinging to gold leaves.

Making decent progress on Book III. I've written 12,745 words since the first of the month, ith a goal of 50,000 words by the end of the month. It's nice for writing to be my primary job after all these years of fitting it in between day jobs and raising kids. Book III will be due 18 months after we sign the contract, which I expect in early December.

Off to research train routes between northeast Texas and Galveston in 1913.
