Morning all . . .

12° had more snow than a half inch plus, more like 3 inches and was able to use the electric snow blower on most of it.

We had a surprise hour long rain shower yesterday. It was welcome as we have had a very dry year.
47-72 & sun today.

Morning. 21 degrees, but with a 25 mph wind, it feel a lot colder.

Got my royalty statement last night which shows more income from writing this year than I used to make at either the museum or the law firm. I also have an article in Wyoming Wildlife this month, but I haven't see it yet.

Just for the record, I hate pigs and have not a single qualm about having them turned into bacon. Well, okay. Maybe a little qualm, but I was ready to do it myself yesterday. Went out to my son's place to feed animals, and one of the porkers pushed through the gate when I went to fill their self-feeder. Of course, when we attempted to put him back in the stall, the other two pushed through. Eventually we got them back in, but... I hate those things. They're bigger, stronger, and smarter than I am, and I'm always afraid they'll eat me before I can eat them.
