At some time in the middle of the night the busy cat was walking all over us, when I got up she had brought her favorite toy onto the bed and I guess wanted to be petted with it. Used to be I had to toss it out into the hallway for fetch but she hasn't done that in quite some time.

A busy week of dentists, eye doctors and lawyers. All good though. As ready for Christmas as I can be. Everything out, up or wrapped.

Morning. 42 degrees, 27 mph wind, sunny. Got my presentations at the college out of the way and kept most of the rest of the moth open for writing. Today I'm taking my grandson to the ranch store to buy him a new pair of cowboy boots, which is his requested Christmas gift. His birthday is a couple of days before Christmas, so he and I celebrate it in October. I asked him once if he disliked having a holiday birthday. He laughed and said no. He celebrates it with me in October, with his mom and dad in November, then gets a cake on his real birthday as well.
