Morning everybody . . . :coffee:

42° and a slight breeze, the sprinkles didn't happen yesterday and now they are teasing us with some snow maybe on Thursday.

Found a recipe for sausage gravy some years ago, called sawmill gravy, it uses some chicken broth besides the 3 cups of milk.

Also sheet pan.

Back in Kentucky they have something called red-eye gravy. Don't remember having tried it.
Temps today are down to 46-67, with a side of sun.

Morning. 35 degress, 35 mph wind. Nothing like having balance in one's life.

Took the six month old puppy down yesterday to get him neutered, chipped, and dew claws removed. Poor guy is in a cone of shame now, but he's getting used to maneuvering in it. He's the runt of the litter, half Bernese (mom) and half mountain cur (dad). We hoped he'd get dad's size instad of mom's, but at 52 pounds, he's already adult size for a cur. The older dog is labrador/Pyenees cross who topped out at 95 pounds. We didn't expect him to get that big, either, since both parents were around 70-75 pounds when we met them. Dad turned out to be a teenaged father and hit around 125 full grown.

Except for my Vallhund/elkhound, we've mostly had big dogs, but sometimes I think a Shih Tzu would've been more sensible.
