Morning everyone . . . :coffee:

26° and still

Had a dream of how to put sauce on spaghetti mixing it into the noodles verses putting it on top of the noodles. No idea where that came from, weird.

Heard a saying, "people don't quit the job, they quit the boss". Kind of the story of why I retired when I did, our post commander was so full of himself and one day pretty much shouted at me, "why don't you just retire", so I did and it was almost two years for them to find a replacement in that remote area.

Spaghetti is how you like to make it. My aunt loved to eat plain cold spaghetti for breakfast. It's still windy today, 35 mph steady with gusts to 50. Going to see my lawyer today to finish up some will and trust documents.

Another dry day in the neighborhood. 40 degrees, 35 mph wind. It probably won't turn snowy until I have to drive to Washington in March. Yeah, it's a stupid time to cross Montana and Idaho, but babies don't generally take road conditions into account when they schedule their due dates. tsk. People who move 1400 miles from family should get knocked up in the late fall or early winter so they can deliver the goods in decent travel weather.

"people don't quit the job, they quit the boss" Pretty much sums up my retirement from the museum. My co-worker and I had run the place for ten years with a minimum amount of supervision from the first director. When she quit her boss, the administration made a poor choice in replacing her. I lasted a year and a half before retiring. My coworker would've followed me out the door, but she's primarily a museum specialist, which limited her local job options. She endures.
