Morning all . . .
29° and zero wind
Some years back I had heard of the North Rim of the GC and we booked a room at the lodge, it was the best visit to thee GC we had ever done, then last year's devasting fire wiped all that out. What a sad loss. I sure hope they could at some point rebuild the lodge.

The Grand Canyon is one of those places you have to see in person to really appreciate the grandeur of this place.
Everyone in there lifetime should take a rafting trip down the river. I did my second three day trip 2 years ago.
Weather here is sunny and topping out at 70.
Heading out to the dermatologist in an hour for a full body check.

Morning. 40 degrees. Not much air movement.
I saw Grand Canyon for the first and last time when I was eleven. Oddly enough, I don't remember much about it. What I do remember from that trip was the canyon at Blue Water Lake State Park in New Mexico, maybe because it was the first canyon I'd ever seen. Coming from the Texas Gulf Coast, which is flatter than a flitter, it made quite an impression on me to look down into the earth. One of my favorite places in the southwest is Mesa Verde.
