Morning all . . .

20° another tease of possible snow later today.

While at the gym yesterday the trainer was having someone do some steps on a rope ladder looking thing laid out on the floor. Reminded me of a Jacobs ladder, but smaller. Then it brought back memories of being anchored out in Majorca Spain and the weather had come up and we couldn't bring the whale boat alongside the brow because of the waves. So we had to climb the Jacobs ladder to get onboard, which when you get to the top walking beam it wants to swing away from you as you try to get up on the beam, that was a fun thing.

Afternoon. 55 degrees, 20+mph wind. We usually get a January thaw about this time, but there's nothing to thaw this year.

Tom, my friend, you and I have different ideas of fun. I get seasick just thinking about it.

I too can't take small boats on rough seas. However, I can take a bouncy airplane all day.
