Morning all . . .

21° probably clear but still dark.

On one of my return trips from ES I was riding up to I 70 in Kansas and whatever road I was on was a slightly rolling hills (?) area with a scattering of trees, there was a pasture of goats coming up, maybe they were pygmy goats, but I got off the throttle and pulled the clutch, as I was abreast of the pasture I blipped the throttle and they went all stiff and fell over.

Sounds like fainting goats. Strange behaver, like a possum playing dead. It's raining this morning. Only scheduled to last until noon.
Temps are down to a high of 55 today.

Morning. Kinda overcast, 39 degrees.

One cloudy too-early morning, I got turned around at Salida and went north instead of west. I don't like to retrace routes, so I turned off on State 24 which roughly parallels I-25. I intended to drop back down to I-25 via the next farm road, but ended up taking 24 all the way to Colby. Pretty, pretty country.
