Well, it's morning in Wyoming, anyway. Only 11:03 p.m. here in the PNW. Gorgeous drive along the north side of the Columbia River today, then a long wait in line on a sideroad after a landslide blocked both lanes of northbound I-5. I don't have a GPS or a detailed map, but cut off the freeway at the only possible point I saw and caught up with people who must have a gps. The road wasn't on my map so I got on it by accident. Could see the freeway, which sounded quite tense and unpleasant. Why will people lean on horns when it doesn't do any good? Much nicer where I was grooving with the universe on a pleasant two lane with trees, green grass, a few flowers, and occasional small waterfall. I had a good audio book, made some notes about my own book, talked to a friend in Florida, looked at the birds, occasionally turned the car on to inch a few more yards forward. Every single time I've come to Washington- Every. Single. Time. I've sat in a line of cars waiting to get onto I-5, though once it was a line of cars to get onto a road that went to I-5. It's kind of an official regional past time, I think.

Morning everyone . . .
15° the wind moved very quickly yesterday then the snow started around four, and our possible half inch accumulation turned into more like two to three inches. The wind continued while snowing and my truck has a drift overhang "nose". Supposed to be a high of 72° on Tuesday and higher on Wednesday.
Back in Bridgeport we had a mud slide just outside of town that closed our little state route into Nevada, there were some people coming to town from the Nevada side, so in their infinite wisdom, I don't know if it was their GPS of just saw the dirt road that leads over to Hawthorn NV, but anyway as you start down that road and it forks off towards the ghost town of Masonic in CA. Anyway as it had been raining hard enough for the mud slide to happen, Masonic road was also a mess and they got stuck, and there is no cell service out in the middle of no place. Heard they survived on dry dog food or dog snacks for a few days before they walked out to the paved state route and flagged someone down or hiked a few miles back into NV to Sweetwater ranch.
Great bowling game to your grandson.

Sitting at home doing nothing. The temps will be in the 80's and I will be enjoying how the day plays out.
