47° now, got up to 81° yesterday and supposed to get there or a bit more today and the next few.

When I was around 16, we took a family vacation to Oklahoma and one of our relatives cooked cabbage in bacon grease until it was just limp, best tasting cabbage I ever ate. But for the life of me I can't remember if there were bits of bacon included.

I have tried that dish and found the combination very tasty. Then again, I also like vanilla ice cream with crumbled potato chips.
Hitting into the 90's today. It's not yet 7 AM here and it's already 72.

Bacon drippings improve almost anything. Did you ever have wilted salad?

48 degrees and precipitating that weird small-droplet stuff they have here. Have boots and raincoat, shall go outside later.
