Morning everyone . . .

29° Forgot to turn the thermostat to heat last night, got down to 63° here in the house. the cats were cuddled up on me this morning.

Was picking some weeds yesterday in the yard and while getting up I kind of stumbled and fell and scraped a bunch of skin off my left thumb and gashed the side near the nail enough to need some stiches. Oh whee...

Two opposable thumbs do come in really handy.

Sorry to hear about your mishap. Sounds pretty painful. I have a lot of prickly plants around me every time I go outside, all calling me to "Come a little closer Mike." Nothing that would require stitches though. Another "notch in life event." 72-89 today.

Ah, poor Tom. Not just pain, but inconvenience.

Daughter and family headed for the doctor first thing this morning. Baby girl had some blood in a couple of poopy diapers. Hoping it is nothing, but still very worrisome.

Today is my 71st birthday. Some how I thought the physical deterioration would stabilize at 65, but it is either progressive or someone has stolen my face and replaced it with an old lady's.
