Morning everyone . . .

36° still no signs of the promised rain / snow / rain. Can see the moon off towards the West through a broken cloud cover.

Was visiting the new area mechanic at the South Lake Tahoe area office years ago, and he made a statement about how could people live someplace like Bridgeport, which is high sage desert* with some pinyon pines, Jeffery pines and Aspin trees, with no dense forests like Lake Tahoe area. But we have vast open vistas and mountains to see. *Kind of like here in many places.

Afternoon. Spent the morning working at a table in McDonalds while daughter and baby granddaughter had appointments. Various tests have been suggested for Baby, so they'll go off to Children's Hospital in Tacoma on Monday. I'm leaving for home on Monday, though I'll stay if daughter decides she'd prefer I stay a couple of days. Doubt she will. She's pretty self-sufficient.
