Washington State has a lot of hard to pronounce places. Such as - Sequim, Chimacum, Skamokawa, Snoqualme,Shohomish and many more Native American names. Arizona has - Sahuarita and Show Low [ named after cutting a deck of cards, low card got to name the town ]

Natchitoches: NAk uh tuhsh, all run together with the t closer to a d than a crisp t. I called the local library to make sure. Had family there for about thirty years, all gone now.

Appalachia in the southern end of the region: ap pa LATCH ah. In the upper end (according to a friend in PA) ap pa LAY sha.

Wind a steady 30 mph. Sunny. 51 degrees. Red flag fire warning in effect.

I have to go out into the world today and interact with people.
