The train was really blowing it's whistle (horn) this morning. The tracks are down the hill from us along the river. I don't know if they are just blowing it for the crossings or are there deer or pronghorns on the tracks.

Morning. Sunny, windy, 69 degrees. The garden seems to have shaken off the last bout with winter and is getting on with life. Haven't gone out yet to take a close look, but even the phlox seems to have rallied, thought it looks a little ragged.

We know they're pronghorns, but calling consistently them that makes you sound like you're from Somewhere Else.
