45° and it rained some here last evening, more on the way.
I had my first wisdom tooth out while in the Mediterranean on deployment. At the navel base in Sigonella Italy, the second one was in the Pacific aboard the Coral Sea CV 43, and I swear he used a small sledge hammer to break it up.
Cooler today with a high of only 79. I had a molar extracted yesterday and an implant installed. felt like the assistant had me in a head lock while the dentist twisted around with a pair of pliers to get the tooth out.
Well, after getting a tooth pried out of one's head, there's nothing like having pals who understand it on a personal level. Roy had an implant for a molar about a year ago. He has been happy with it. I can't really whine much. A few decades ago, I worked as an opertory assistant for oral surgeons. I remember enough to know this was a relatively easy extraction, though there is some concern about infection since I used to take osteoporosis meds.
Cool, overcast day here. We had a few drops of rain last night, but nothing to get very enthusiastic about. Currently 48 degrees with clouds, expected high of 62. Small chance of rain.
