58° and later hot for these parts. Had lots of lightening last night and hope no fires from them here.

I don't know what goes on with this magic site, sometimes I can edit, but if I take too long it won't update the edit, so then maybe I can shorten it and update if it has the edit clicky thingy again when I try.

Behold! August is upon us. I am not ready for it to be this late in the year. Currently 62 degrees with a high of 86 predicted.

McDuff and Brodie have adjusted to each other nicely. Last night, they engaged in a wild game of chase. Imagine, if you will, one long-legged 100 pound dog roaring around the yard while a gamboling eight week old puppy does his level best to keep up.

Good morning. Too hot [89] to go for a walk. Maybe go to the mall later, like a lot of folk around here, and get some exercise there.
