Yeah, the woods in Arkansas can really grow, no lack of hardwood for the fire for heating.
One year I was returning from shopping in Carson City and came through the Ag check station coming back into CA, and there was a good half cord of hickory wood piled up against the bay wall of the check station, seems some Marine had loaded up his truck with hickory wood in Arkansas and was bringing it back to the mountain warfare base to do some smoking, but the Ag people seized it because it might have some bad bugs in it that might affect our pinyon pines or something. Heaven forbid if they found you bringing some CA oranges back in from NV, because they might have become infected and devastated our sage brush or pine trees at the 6,500 foot elevation where I used to live.
