Saturday November 15th

Post by Far Rider »

Morning all . . . :coffee:

44° slight w yesterday.

Got the icicle lights up in the back, only people going to see them is the neighbors across the alleyway or maybe some houses up on Cedar Ridge might see them.

No we didn't loose power here where I am in Thermopolis, I think I may have seen the lights flicker like when the A/C comes on, but that isn't being used right now.

Speaking of people driving too fast our house is right across from a stop sign that most people drive through at speed where one street intersects with our street.

Watching the turkey gangs wander around town, some are down by the river area just South of the McD's then they wander around our neighborhood, some people put something out for them, and then they are in the park. Didn't see hardly any in the park or the neighborhood most of the summer like in the past. I know they can fly but I just see them walking everywhere.

Good morning. A cooler 56 out this morning. Slight chance of rain. Still hitting 85 as a high.
They are setting up tents for Xmas tree sales. They ought to combine and rename the holidays as Thankmass.

Morning, 54 degrees, 25 mph wind. Seriously, what month is this?

Given the emphasis on consumerism this time of year, perhaps Chrisgiving would be more appropriate than Thankmas. Except for gifts for grandchildren, we ignore the Santa aspects of the season. Everyone is going to be off the Wednesday before TDay, so we'll do our dinner out at the ranch that day. Son works on Thanksgiving- triple time. Good deal, except for all the people deep frying frozen turkeys.
Mind the thorns.
