Monday November 24th

Post by Far Rider »

Morning everyone . . . . :coffee:

27° and now a 10% chance of sprinkles or flurries this morning. I have looked at wunderground for weather off and on, my other main source is the NOAA site, but have to bookmark your area page or enter your zip every time.

Yeah I don't understand why they had to put the P back on the non truck car plates, it seemed pretty clear that a truck had the T and the cars weren't a truck. Maybe someone is new at the department of vehicle license plate design or were "proving their value".

Well, it's still morning. I slept later today than I have in years, maybe decades. I've been hitting the writing hard, 45,000+ words since the first of November and that much staring at the computer is about to do me in. I should finish this draft in the next two days, then I am shutting it down until after the Thanksgiving weekend.

Great plate. I've never had a personalized plate, but if I did, it might be NDAH.

Temperature is 40 degrees, but the wind chill puts it in the lower 20s. And that brings me to my second weather station dissatisfaction. I used to be able to get the wind speed for my area from WillyWeather, but now it reports wind speed at the airport 10 miles from here. The wind on my ridge and the wind out on the flats northwest of town have damn all to do with each other. The weather station we have at the house has also worn out. I just bought two new ones, one for us and one for our son. The top rated system was on sale for half off.
Mind the thorns.
