Saturday November 29th

Post by Far Rider »

Morning everyone . . . :coffee:

15° never saw the showers happen, but around 10 last night looked out and saw that it had been snowing and appeared to be about 2 inches on the truck already.

Went to Best buy one black Friday, they were having a sale on SD cards for digital cameras, and I had checked out the brand prior to Friday, when I finally worked my way through the crowd to get a few, found out they were made in Chine, unlike the ones hanging there the week before were made in Japan.

It's just a big hype to get us rubes all stirred up to go give them our money for The Great Egress show.

Good morning. Taking the two family guests to the airport today. They are flying home to Bellingham WA. They mightly enjoyed the sunny 75+ temps here in Tucson. My wife Jan can't wait to get our Christmas tree up and decorated. Gotta wait until December in my mind.
She still loves a real tree but as we get older the fake ones are looking better every year.

Morning. -7 degrees according to the official weather report and 3 degrees according to our weather station, which I think is getting wonky. I ordered a new one for us and one for my son and daughter-in-law. The air might be stirring, but not too much right now.

I don't think I'll bring out the decorations this year except the midwinter candles. Too much work to put up and take down, and no little kids around to enjoy them. Daughter and family are happy out on Harstine Island, but it's a long way to travel in the winter.
Mind the thorns.
