One year something happened with the TI, so we got a room at the Venetian. But boy was it a PIA to get from parking the the desk and then back to the room. Then for our next trip we tried the Palazzo, same room set up, owned by the same company, but if we turned off the street from the highway and behind the TI we came out to a signal light that went across to the parking garage of the Palazzo, first time as we were looking for a spot all the spots around the escalator area was really packed and as I was driving around we saw the elevators to the check in desk, and that was off in a corner of sorts and lots of open spots. So up the elevator right to the desk and then a quick walk across the floor to the elevators to the rooms. And for some reason the palazzo rooms were cheaper
Morning. 43 degrees and a bit gloomy. Wind is supposed to pick up later.
Back to the DMV today for the third damn time to get my drivers license.
Las Vegas is not on my list of vacation choices. Crowds and noise freak me out. I've stopped there for gas and that's all the exploring I ever did. My daughter and a couple of friends went back in 2017 and attended the music festiival among other things. They left a few hours before the shooting. I knew she was okay because she called me from the airport before the plane left, but my son had a couple of bad moments after hearing several off-duty LEOs had been killed.
