Going to put out some lawn fertilizer and run the sprinkler on it to water it in this morning. I could probably turn on the water to the sprinkler system as it probably won't get into the minus range any more this year, but Wyoming weather is full of surprises.
Another 72-100 day . Heading out for an early morning walk before the heat arrives in force. Everything outdoors here is done before 10am and after 4PM. Still would not want to trade you guys for your wind and snow.
A lot of grasshoppers in the state this spring.
Afternoon- actually well toward evening. Been playing catch-up on things delayed by travel and arrival of baby. Still raining. Still chilly.

Well, maybe no more negative temperatures, but you remember why first responders don't say the Q Word, right?
In 48 years in Wyoming, I have never seen a final frost date any earlier than mid-May, no matter how mild the winter. One year, I got snowed on between Alcova and Muddy Gap on the 26th of June.
