55° and heading up to the 90's again, had the quick thundershower with a touch of hail yesterday.
Coming back from Riverton could see a smoke haze against the Owl Creek range here at Boysen reservoir. No active chip sealing of the highway going on and no equipment in sight so I think that is over for this season by the reservoir and the tunnels.
Sunny and 68 degrees, going for a high of 90. Drove in from Missoula yesterday with a stop in Powell to drop off my grandson (his other grandmother died and the funeral is Friday). Made another stop in Thermopolis to visit the library and bookstore to arrange a program. Stopped again at the ranch to see the puppies and incidentally my son and daughter-in-law. The drive on Tuesday was grueling, thanks to traffic and narrow roads winding through impenetrable forests. Wednesday across Montana and Wyoming was a relief. My mind functions so much better when I can see across miles of country instead of only to the edge of the road.
