Still working on going through storage unit, want to get rid of things but trying to find someone that wants them isn't easy. Can't believe how many glasses we had (have) collected over the years.
Got back from my week long adventure in the Northeast. Weather was in the 80's and they were posting dangerous heat warnings
We got back to our usual 100+ normal days.
A toasty 105 today. No rain in sight.
Good to be home.
Greetings, troops. 81 degrees, going for a high of 90 under smokey skies. Several small fires in our general vicinity, but unless they've blown up since the last posting, this smoke originates somewhere else.
Tom, if you want to haul stuff, Rescued Treasures here in town has two large stores supporting their homeless shelter. I am not sympathetic with their business model of cramming Christianity down the throats of anyone who needs help from the mission, but they do provide beds and meals for folks who might not have them otherwise.
