Good morning. 82-103 today. I had my annual physical yesterday. Doc put me on a high blood pressure med. Otherwise doing good for an old guy.

Morning. A pleasant 61 this morning with a high of 84 predicted. Yesterday evening had a bit of fall in the air. I'm ready for cooler weather, but not the end of summer.
I think maybe people who write weather headlines need to get out more. Dangerous Heat Grips West, Records Could Fall Hide the children! Stock up on Kool Aid! Every storm has to have a name. Guys in shirt sleeves and women in fashionable dressses stare intently into the camera and talk about cold fronts in tones one would normally reserve for an impending volcanic eruption. Just tell people what the weather is likely to be and I'll betcha most of us can figure out not to run a marathon in 115 degree temps.
