Yes I ran across some more stories about the roads / no roads thing. Some big money are trying to gain access to get to possible maybe rare earths locations here or there and we need to build some huge roads to do the prospecting and it will bring jobs, nudge nudge. But I've seen it in the past the jobs are not for locals, because they are too specialized, or the locals don't have the correct training and it would take too long to train them. Yadda, yadda, yadda.
One of my peeves is we have shut down our lead mines and cut back on our copper mining and now we are paying huge money to import it from other countries, and those are the basic minerals / metals needed to expand our grid and build much of the future world of all things electric, besides the rare earth stuff.
