Thursday November 20th

Post by Far Rider »

Morning all . . . :coffee:

28° here this early AM.

Yeah have been slowly downsizing here, but as we slowly unpack from the last 3 - 4 years of moving somethings are being kept.

Saw on the weather news last night that it was, oh my gosh, getting snow in Flagstaff. Really weather news? like that is highly unusual? I remember riding through in the middle of September heading to South Carolina passing through there and there were traces of snow on the ground.

When I worked at Gates Rubber in Denver I would work on New Year's eve at triple time, which worked out to double time with no taxes withheld.

Good morning. The rain is coming down. Areas north of me are getting soaked. Due to stop this afternoon.
Cooler temps from 57-68 today.

It's a foggy morning at 33 degrees and no wind. Finally looks a little more like November.

Flagstaff. We used to drive through there on our way from California to Arkansas and back. It was always, always either snowing or raining in Flagstaff. Over the course of those years, the Destructive Powers That Be dug away a mountain. Still wonder what they were mining.

I always liked driving through Arizona and New Mexico on those trips. When I relocated back in the seventies, New Mexico was on my list of possibilities.
Mind the thorns.
