Tuesday November 25th

Post by Far Rider »

Morning everyone . . . :coffee:

21° and I can see stars off towards the West but my sensor in the yard is showing 25°, but that is also under the eves of the house in the rear, so it may affect the reading being sheltered.

Guess I should pull one of my turkey breast roast things out of the freezer, we're invited over to the SIL house, with a mess of other people.

Are you finishing up with this latest writing? Or you have to take a break and look it over and think about polishing some areas?

Good morning. Picking up two Thanksgiving guests this afternoon from the airport. My wife's daughter and one granddaughter.
They are looking forward to a week of sunny temps in the 70's. They are coming from cold, rainy Washington State.
The 17 year old granddaughter loves horse, so a trip to a local dude ranch might be in order.
For the rest of you wonderful people...Safe travels, wherever the four winds take you.

Morning, y'all. 21 degrees here, no wind to speak of, sunny. Supposed to cloud up and precipitate tonight, but probably will be just enough to make it hard to get down the road to the ranch tomorrow for Thanksgiving.

Oh, Tom, I am no where near the polishing stage. This is definitely first draft material. The goal du jour is to produce 2600 words which will put me over the goal line of writing 50,000 words in November. As soon as I do that, I'm shutting the computer down and staying away from it until Monday. I've stared at this screen for so long that my eyes are wonky. Last night I wrote about the 1900 hurricane in Galveston. No idea wich part of the book will hit my fancy this morning.
Mind the thorns.
